Company Profile

We combine corporate advisory with strategic investment advice for high-net-worth investors and family offices.

Bramdean Asset Management LLP (BAM) is an investment management business. It was founded in 2004 by Nicola Horlick and Sir Derek Higgs. It received its regulatory approvals at the end of that year and launched in January 2005.  BAM focused on the management of alternative investments and, in 2007, Bramdean Alternatives Limited was listed on the London Stock Exchange.

BAM managed a portfolio of private equity and specialty funds whilst RMF (part of Man Group) was appointed by the independent board to manage a portfolio of hedge funds.  In 2008, Sir Derek Higgs died unexpectedly, which led the management team to review the business strategy. In 2009, BAM sold its fund management contracts to Aberdeen Asset Management. Subsequently, BAM managed a number of small mandates.

Our Objective

We strive to encourage and promote investment in young and developing UK businesses, providing vital early-stage capital and mentorship in the business development of investee companies.
